Tail light help!
So my drivers side tail light wont stay on, I thinks its a bad ground but I'm unable to find any wiring diagrams for the tail lights on our trucks. What happens is the tail light will be out but if you hit it a couple times it will turn on, sometimes it will be dim and sometimes when I hit the brakes the reverse light will come on! [verymad] Any suggestions/solutions?

Then go to your local parts store, or online and buy new light sockets. For the $6.00 each, you can throw those 20 year old rusted ones in the garbage and not think about it again. |
Make sure your box is well grounded and also check your trailer light socket and where it ties into the harness. Look for pinched and chafed wires

I will get new sockets as they were quite rusty and does anyone know where to find or have a wiring diagram i can look at?
