Hey Greg yes I have done the pump my self . It's not the ve pump that you should worrie about it's the p7100 I am building. Its a 95 2nd gen pump I'm changing the cam and plugers to the same size as the 97's. Also 191 cut deliver vales 4000 rpm spring kit my own cam plate and holly high pressure lift pump. I plan on timing it at 14 degrees it will still be a bear to start on a cold moring if I time it higher when its below 48 degrees out it will have to be pluged in . 370 or 400 injectors will be used but I've had a talk with the getrag it says get a nv4500 or I will bust. Will see here very soon next year I plan to start drag racing. I also have hx40 an h2e laying around this will follow the p pump I hope the work well to gether.

If you plan to start drag racing why not build up an auto?

I am not sure, but I don't think they let anyone but girls drive automatics in KY. Of course, they could have changed the laws with the new administration.

Not un less u got p pump hanging of the side of it. I bast off in 3rd and can in 4th but not as well. BearKiller's right there is a law in Kentucky that states only girls diver autos. Just Pullen your chain auto's are pretty tough when built right. Happy Thanks giving to all of you guys TBOLING
