hey guys, its a long shot but, im restoring ol faithful, gutted the interior, floor pans were gone so i redid them, rockguarded the entire floor like crazy, sound deadened everything, paint job, new grill, bumpers, power mirrors, etc etc etc....on and on it goes. the guy i bought it from was the first owner, he bought it brand new in 93. Its a d250 ext cab 5speed. i guess he wore out the original driver seat out so he threw in a set of buckets with the deep center console. problem is, the seats are red and my interiors grey!!! i was thinking about painting them,,,or doing a fabric dye, but i gave up on those ideas. i went to the dodge dealer and gave them my vin and they printed out a spec sheet of what my truck had brand new. it had a split bench with the fold down center console. where are they, i guess looking in scrap yards and on craigslist/ebay are my only options? ive been exhausting those site for ever haha.
let me know if you guys have any ideas.

I have never seen a 1st gen with a 50/50 with a fold down center (2nd gen) seat. My first gen parts manual only list two seat options for our CC/RC trucks. A 50/50 split back bench and capt chairs with a center console.
I think you are the first person I have ever heard of who wanted to ditch capt's for a 50/50. I have both and will say that the capt's are more comfortable but in my RC I like having the 50/50 as it allows for entry into the back on both side of the truck. Making it easier to load 6 adults when we take it camping or tailgating. Most people on eBay wont list a big bench seat as shipping would be expensive. I would start shooting messages to fellow members on here who break down whole trucks and part them out. Not showing your location doesn't help either. Good luck, they are out there. Most people ditch them for the buckets.

its not a 50/50 split bench, its a 40/20/40 plit bench and it was a common option for these trucks in the day. the center console folded down to an opening center or if you put it up it was a center seat.
A little pricey, but an option...http://www.discountvantruck.com/truc...truckseats.htm
That red seat is not a factory first gen seat. Sort of looks 2nd gen without the seatbelts. First gens never had a 40/20/40. Other than say a mid to late 70's LRD or Warlock that did have a 40/20/40 option a full size truck did not have that option. Any chance your truck was a conversion, like a Centurion? Those trucks were sent to a company who did customization work. And that often included different style or a softer fabric change. If not it must be an aftermarket seat.
