Steering Question

Just the other day out of the blue, I can feel a little click, click in my steering wheel when I turn it about 10 degrees to the left and only in that spot. Rag joint and steering coupler are new, as well as most steering suspension parts. My steering box leaks really badly, so I recently added a bottle of that really thick Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak. Could this be the pump or the box?

It's developed into a little more than a click, kinda like a bump, but right in that same spot, whether the truck is moving or not. And I have noticed when I'm driving and steer through that spot, it feels like it's getting "pushed through faster" and it kinda jerks my wheel. Any Ideas?

When the joint was rebuilt, was the "H" put in upside down? Did one years ago and it was upside down and bound.

Been years and have forgotten more than I have learned.

Best of luck

I had a similar sound with a loose steering box. Stand outside of the truck and peer into the wheel well while moving the steering wheel and observe the box.

Check the steering coupler if you had it apart. you could of installed the cams upside down. That causes binding and a clunking noise form the steering. How do I know this I did it.
