Ain't it funny that we 1st genners notice every truck on the road and some just sticking out of the weeds in a field.
My wife and I was in NM last summer and I saw this cool red and white 1st gen EC W250 in the parking lot so I had to walk over and take a look, It was rlyons truck ! ! ! ! I knew I had seen the truck before but just couldn't put a name with it, after I got home It hit me. What are the odds of a guy from FL beeing in NM and a guy from IL beeing in NM and seeing the truck. I wish I would have talked with him, may never meet face to face again. |

No more stacks and I have removed 2 springs from the rear for ride quality and it did set it down an inch in the rear but still has a rake " don't care for the Cali lean stance.

I like the dual pipes on the D. Is it an early '40s model?

1949, some Amish guys in northern IN are casting a 3 piece manifold, supposed to be a 10hp gain by keeping the fuel cool going into the cyl, I have 2 mufflers and 2 5 inch pipes, the pipes sound really good for 10 min or so then it is just a little to much.
On a belt dyno it makes 52 hp. |
