??? My 89, my two 91's and the current 93 have all been two wire connectors...

This connector:

and the VSS I indicated...
The W350's had a third wire in the harness, that signaled the 4WD indicator, but it connected towards the top of the tailhousing, not at the VSS..

The W350's ( 4WD) used the right angle gear reducer, while both auto's did not..
just MY experience..

yes on the Left is 4 wheel drive stuff on Right is Gasser on the 92-93 it's Electronic speedo No offence taken just tryin to help

ye we do.. and I WOULD like to see a picture of yours if its got 3 wires, .. Ive been searching NAPA, Rock Auto and O'Reilly's and haven't found a 3 wire VSS yet, so I am really curious now!!

Necred, looks like Rock Auto is going to be the least expensive by about $20 on the VSS...

I will take a Picture of it tomorrow Morning but the 93 I used as a donor was a 2 wheel drive and the speedo connector has 3 wires on it the 4x4 stuff i have has 2 so I adapted what I had to make it work .

ok thanx for the class, i ordered from oreillys,,,im stopping by otw home, from what i can remember mine favors one on left but i have D350. Could this be a different tranny?

Ill have to get back to you tom. I hope you are talking about the 2 pic. The first pic looks like it came from tailshaft instead of side of tranny.

that is from a 2 wheel drive 518 auto from behind my cummin's the wire end is the 2 wheel drive wiring I am useing
