schamran, why would you want something newer? This is actually a 91.5, inter-cooled and everything!
I'm not saying I would want something newer. I guess if I needed a dump truck, that is what I would want/look for because I know them inside and out. What I am trying to say, is that not many people know what this truck is capable of, and just see it as an old truck. IMO, the guy who is after a first gen wants it for a toy, because they are cool. I am not trying to say it is a bad truck at all. It actually looks very nice for a work truck, but I am saying it is overpriced because it is a work vehicle, and the average person would think that they could get something newer for the same price.

That is a fire truck color. It may have been repainted but I bet it was that color from day 1.

I would buy it if I had an extra $12,500.

Of course if I had an extra $12,500 my house would be paid-off, my kids would be finished with school, my back would be fixed, someone else would be mowing my lawn...

But seriously, I wish I had one of those. Might just have to build one.

that truck will run forever and it has a 9 ft dump bed and a body has no rust if it went for 9k i think it would be well worth it to someone who needed it for work, from an investment stand point id rather pay that than buy a newer truck. that truck has a least 200k-300k more miles left in it with practically no maintenance costs and it gets great MPG for what it is

Had an '89 4wd 1 ton dump sell here in Vermont last year for 10,500....and it didn't look anywhere near as good as that one.... I thought the guy was high asking 10,500. but looking in the want adds, ANY dump that is not rusted to hell and is workable around here starts at 10K
