i just put a side exit exhaust on my truck and it rattles a little but only in reverse and at low idle when hot? do you guys think the culprate could be that solid hanger by the bell housing?? and what could be a way around it!

 

No, the pipe is hitting something.

 

Or the pipe is hitting something because the hanger broke. I have had the just break right off the pipe.

 

I didn't have a big enough clamp for that hanger when I put on the 4" down pipe, so I'm not runnin one their. I don't have any rattles under normal conditions, my exhaust does go all the way to the back of the truck though. I have heard it hit things when the frame is flexed off road.
