Should I try a 12cm

Im considering getting a 12cm housing to try it in place of my 16cm. Since I bumped the timing I lost that initial umph until about 8psi then it rocks. It seems like the 12 would help counteract that and clear up some of my pre boost smoke (no I will not back off the screws ). I have the 5sp and do a lot of city driving so apparently the 12 is a good combo with stock injectors....What do ya'll think?

Absolutely! Your injectors cant feed enough fuel for it to be a restriction.

12

running it on mine, lost the smoke, getting up to 40 psi, if you leave your foot in it, pump maxed with pin, stock 1990 injectors, and pyro stays in check with moderate rpm under load, average 20-30 psi boost. did you like the templates? kudos, joe.

The best place is here in the classifieds or on ebay. Sometimes you can pick up a whole used HX35 (sometimes needing rebuilt or scrapped) for less money than just buying the housing. HX35 has 56mm/12cm. Good upgrade if you only spend a couple hundred bucks on it and you have a completely stock turbo.
