shifting problems?

I don't really know how to start this, I'm new to the whole forum spectrum. So I'll just explain what I can.

After replacing the rear bearings and doing other various tune ups to my first gen, i started to notice that as I drove it I could feel the granny want to shift in and out when I hit 50-55 mph. Anything higher and its fine, no problems.

Any ideas of what could cause this?

Thanks for your time.
Scott,

oh yeah, I drive a 91 with a 727 tranny I believe
