Gentleman, I've done some searching but no definite answers. I've installed a new alternator and 3 different regulators and it still over charges, about 16 volts (double checked it with a meter).
All he wiring is home made by me :-) and not sure why it won't quit overcharging???
I've fallowed the simple wiring for it. See image. Any suggest, tins?

Bad voltage regulator. Pop the one in from the red tuck (assuming you upgraded it to solid state) for a test.
Make sure the voltage regulator, engine, and chassis are all grounded together properly.
