Runnin rough. Help!

Hey guys just bought my 1992 dodge D-250 and she wont go above 45 mph and she is drinking tranny fluid like a fat kid drinks pop. Any ideas?

I would replace the fuel filter first if it has been on there a while. Is the trans fluid leaking? If it is not leaking then the heat exchanger is probably bad. Look for trans fluid in the radiator.
