rpm's after 3200 spring

I put the spring in my pump a few months ago and felt the diffrence. But i just installed a tiny tach and my truck wont rev past 2530. Is this low? i have backed the fuel screw out a little and the fuel pin rotated to the shallow side (just trying to save a little on diesel)

p.s. i can still hit 25psi with an hx35 16cm

Maybe check all your throttle linkage and make sure you are getting all the travel, sometimes the spherical ends go bad...

Try backing out the high idle setting, heck I threw mine away when I did the AFC removal.
