Rotor differences

In a recent inquiry I made to a place about the front rotor on my truck, the salesman asked if my rotors were 1.54" thick or 1.19" thick. I didnt know there were two different ones. My rotors are not factory rotors and I dont know if they are the correct ones or not. Anyone ever heard of this?

I've used both. mine came stock with the 1.54" rotors. I did a cheap brake job to pass inspection and used the 1.19" rotors. They are junk. they heat up twice as fast and lose braking force quickly. I traded my front hubs and thin rotors to a guy for his dually front hubs and factory thick rotors. He went to install my old hubs and rotors and said that his worn out pads in combination with the thin rotors made it so the pads were just about to fall out of the calipers. Moral of the story... buy the good stuff even if it costs a little more.
