UPDATE!

I was able to burn a full tank with mainly hiway driving. Didn't baby it all the time either. The result: 17.07 MPG. Nothing stellar, but it helped.

Does the 12cm really hurt mileage?

I'm not an expert, but look at my signature, and the MPG's I'm getting.

From: Katy, TX off north Mason Road.
What boost are you guys running at say 65mph? I run between 5-6psi cruising at 65mph and average right around 27mpg all highway and easy on the throttle. If I cruise 75mph it drops down to around 23mpg. Those numbers are hand calc from the trip odo on my Navigation unit, so the mileage is pretty accurate.
