rice crispy front suspension??

Okay I'm curious. When I cut into a parking spot or back out I get several interesting pops and clunks. They can happen over uneven terrain also. It isn't an issue on bumpy roads. Also my right front tire keeps chewing up the asphault on hot days(its one particular spot a slight grade with the right tire down hill).

Anybody got any ideas

If you get the moog heavy duty 1-ton springs those noises will probably go away, and level your truck out.

The noise you hear when you make a tight turn is the steering stops. They are bolts on the control arms that limit the travel of the spindles. Dab some grease on them and it will get quiet for a while.

Mine pops as I turn the wheel while going very slowly, but I think it might be the steering box I replaced last year. It didn't do it before that. I can't track the noise, even laying under the truck while my wife cuts the tires (I chock the tires because of the life insurance! ). The left front wheel jitters when it makes the noise, but the ball joints and tie rod ends all check out fine.

So I just drive straight and steer with the spinning rear wheels!
