Ram Shifter Knob
 

I want to take a Ram Hood Ornament and make it into a shifter knob. Anyone done this? If I remember right, it's hollow. I was thinking I'd melt and fill it with some 60 series aluminum then drill and tap. Just wandering if it's a lost cause or if someone had better ideas?
