Radio swap (maybe useless, but here it is!)
Radio swap (maybe useless, but here it is!)
When I bought the '93 CC it had a Panasonic CD player in it. Nothing super fine, but a nice unit. It was installed right, too, with a Scosche harness instead of a cut and crimp job.
My '02 Wrangler had a much nicer Kenwood I put in it last year, and now that the Jeep is almost a trail-only rig, it seemed to make sense to put the KW in the tow rig and the Panasonic in the TJ.
Because they had both been installed well, it turned out to be a plug and play swap, which just tickled me b/c the whole thing took less than an hour!
So all this to say: 1. I'm really happy, and since the wife doesn't get it, I'm sharing with y'all.
AND 2. It would seem that any C/P/D stock unit up to at least '02 will also be a plug and play arrangement. I've seen some folks ask this here before, so I hope this is a small offering for all the help I've gotten here this year.
