Radio

I would like to put a factory or OEM look alike radio back in my 89. The radio that's in there is cheap garbage, I do want fm and possibly bluetooth but I want a factory look. Does anybody have a picture or part number of the original? I've done some looking around but not exactly sure what I'm looking for or if I'm looking at the right radios. Thanks

I’ve used radio out of mid 90 grand Cherokee wireing is the same and it bolts right in looks factory. I think 2 gen trucks work as well.

Not a bad idea in light of all of the new laws regarding keeping your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road. I am fixing up a Mercedes Benz 1986 300 sdl and I sent the original radio off to be refurbished and I had an auxiliary port installed, well worth the 100 bucks...Mark

That's really sweet... but as loud as these trucks are not sure a hands free would even work. Plus the cost is enough to choke over...

For that price i would get a cheap $100 receiver, new speakers, amp power pak and 150watt 10" subwoofer for sound! Best Buy did mine locally. Bluetooth AM/FM CD player satellite radio hands free phone mic, detachable face plate. SWEEET!

Maybe it is just because my truck is a base model but that radio looks nothing like the factory radio in my 92’ d350, maybe mine isn’t factory I honestly don’t know.

Awesome!! Finally had time to install the head unit this weekend. Works just as advertised, bluetooth sinked seamlessly with my iphone. Bluetooth button takes the place of the #2 preset button so you do lose that and a tape is required to be in the deck for music to play from the device that is sinked which required a trip to Goodwill. Over all I am happy with the unit and well worth the money!
