pyro tap size

pyro tap size

what size drill and tap do you need for a autometer prob? I used the weld in bung the first time I installed it post turbo on the DP but now that im getting my new turbo im moving it upstream

mine was 1/4npt. It should tell you in the instructions. i would take a look at your particular instructions.

Most I have seen are 1/8" NPT. Uses an "R" drill bit, most people use an 11/32", though. It is really close.

I use a 3/16"(i think) compression x 1/8" npt fitting to mount the probe.

Just don't over tighten the compression part. Never had a problem.

take a 1/4 NPT tap and make sure the threads line up to the probe then. it could be a big mistake if it happens to be different.
