Don't know exact #'s, but it's alot. There are a lot of trucks out there that have a stock getrag and stock rearend that are making huge #'s. Get a good clutch and don't worry about it. Southbends are said to be the best, and a SB will be my next clutch.

Yes, tranny and rearend are both completely stock. I haven't had any problems at all. My cheapo centerforce clutch has never slipped either.

It's free to grind it, but I think you can make a little more power with an Old Smokey Pin or a BD Pin. It's really not that hard to install the 3200 spring just follow the directions in the "Sticky". The spring really doesn't give you any more power, it just makes a truck a lot more driveable and more fun to drive. The 366 spring is alot of bang for the buck.

I bought mine from Pier's diesel for about $13. Go to piersdiesel.com
You have to call to order, but they are very helpful and knowledgeable.

I think you will reach the limits of the headgasket before the Tranny/rearend.

The spring does nothing for power, just so you know. What it does is raised the rpm's into more useful ranges. That shift from 2-3 and 3-4 are much better once you have that spring. The best bang for the buck. You can get one at a online site like Piers or a Cummins shop (where I got mine.) or a Bosch pump shop.

It's not a question of hp but boost. They usually fail when you have more then 35 pounds of boost. Some may last with 40 or more others can blow out at 30.

iroc, that's a little conservative. the stocker should be able to handle 40-45 regularly. I've heard 50 is the max. The reason you see them fail at 30-35 is that people think they can just hop in and smack it with a cold truck. let it warm up fully and go to town. The other limiting factor is turbo. with the stocker or even a stage III or IV upgrade they are not efficient above 35 or so. so it doesn't make sence to run any higher without a better turbo.

With a fuel pin you will see a couple more pounds of boost. and alot more smoke. On mine it made it spool way faster too.
