back up lights don't work - sensor

Hey All,

The back up lights on my truck don't work. If I jump the leads on the connector that plugs into the tranny they work just fine. So, I guess the sensor in the trans has stopped working?

Is it easy to change this on a 4x4? Any special tools needed?

Mine is bad also. I tried to get the sw out and I couldn't find the right tool to do the job. It is tight up there. So I will have to try again soon.
