Ok I have the internals back in the pump. Found the governor sprung to be stretched about one coil to long and the end on the tophat end curled to the point of just about coming out! Thank god for you dedicated 1st genners for making the "stickys" and the great info and pics!!!!!! Also found the throttle assembly that moves the throttle shaft not assembled correctly again guys the stickys saved the day!! Wish I would have found them prior to disassembly--I didn't know about indexing the shaft to the lever. That's the next thing is to crank and set the index correctly and MARK!!! Now to put the AFC together and prime pump and see if my effort has been worth the effort!! Was a little upset when I noticed holes drilled on the drivers side dash board until I found out was for a "factory tach" which I found under the seat--good find I guess. Now back to work!!

Well not sure what is going on here!! If you number the front cyl. #1 and the back cyl #6 I believe #6 is the problem now. I have an electronic temp gauge and cyl 1 thru 5 are running 200 to 207 as the heat exits the head #6 is 165/167. Started out at 130 and I bled the injector several times and the heat came up. Mmmm your thoughts please. Can a delivery valve have rubber stuck in it causing this?? At idle it runs great then all at once rev up like you hit it with a light shot of starting fluid maybe "75 rpm" jump. The run rough momentarily then idle fine. Air? Rubber? I'm out of ideas and need input please!!

Could be rubber in the delivery valve. Can't hurt to check.

I have a headache over this!! Pulled #6 DV valve out and it was clean. Re-pulled #6 injector ok. Would run smooth as silk for about 2 min then start missing again. Mmmm pulled out fuel shut off valve and it was apart but the rubber was intact. Gutted the fso valve and no change still has miss. Fuel pressure at 5 psi and maintains at 3 at maybe 2000 rpm. Please give ideas!!!
