Cool PSI on 89 Dodge non-inter cooled Injection Pump

So I'm adding a FASS pump to my WVO system but I need to identify what psi the FASS pump should be set at for the Injection pump. The pump will be installed at the tank which is just behind the rear axle. Its a hose in hose system so it will be heated some what already before arriving at the pump. The pump will also be pushing through a 10-15 micron fuel/oil filter in the engine compartment right before the heat exchanger that bring the WVO up to its highest temp before going through the lift pump and injection pump.
I thought the injection pump was set at 7-10 psi but some feller told me 4 psi the other day, so I figured I better see if anyone can tell me for certain. Thanks for the help.

You need minimum 3psi at WOT at the VE inlet. Over 20 PSI and the front seal may not hold and you'll fill the crankcase with #2. Make sure you read fuel pressure between the last filter in your setup and the VE.

The normal pressure is 6 to 7 psi with a min pressure of 3psi after the filter going to the VE Pump.

with a fass pump set the regulator at 15psi and you will be in good shape, front seals start to blow around 25psi

Anywhere between 5 and 15 psi under load will keep it happy. If this is a relatively stock truck, there is no benefit to running a lot of pressure.

Great, thanks you'll. That is what I needed to know, and I do have a pressure sender between the lift pump and injection pump, as well as a vacum guage between the filter and lift pump. Both help alot in keeping track of presure and the filter getting dirty or clogged. Thanks again.
