Has any one tryed propane injection? I was looking into it, id like the mpg boost and the power gains, but what about egts and reliability.

 

I bought my 93 w-250 in oct.09. It had propane inj. The truck came with only stock gages.I do not tow heavy loads, 90% empty. Propane is set for mild power inc. Feels like small "passing gear when kicked in". I am fighting health probs but will soon install gages.

 

Some of you might know of or seen this truck. It came from So-Cal, very strait,no rust,dents forrest green over gray,propane tank mounted under bed right side, very visable. I drove to Ks. Est. speed 35 % at 55-60 mph.2 lane rds. 65% at 75-90 mph on I-40. avg. mpg 20!!

 

I installed propane on my 7.3. It was neat, but not worth the trouble or expense.

 

I did some research on it last night, and it seems to give you 2-3 mpgs extra, which means that what you save in fuel goes directly to the propane, doesnt sound worth it to me
