LOL wannadiesel that sounds like some of my patch jobs. I was always told to be innovative. The only problem is I get upset when a patch job breaks at the most inopertune times after telling myself I'll fix it later, a year later and it breaks when your at your busiest.

The Drive Pinion Gear is still available, but you may have to dig around to find it.. I just checked with my dealer local and they say they can order it..
Also, if you can check the salvage yards for compatible year models of Ram Charger and such, they used the same speedo assymbly.
