Who's taking the donor apart? I'd tell him I want everything that touches the trans, just to be on the safe side.

Yeah including the engine.... heck of a deal. I'm positive that you would need the driveline. Not sure about the crossmember.

The cross member LOOKS the sane, from being under both an auto and manual, but I dont know if they are, or the location in relation to the engine is the same. Best thing to do is tell the guy "maybe" you'll need it and see when you get to that point.

Driveshaft will be different length for sure.

He told me $700 for everything. Flywheel, clutch, transmission, slave and master cylinder, pedal kit, crossmember, driveshafts, and whatever else needed.

Arrow Get It All Or You Will Have To Go Back

The driveshaft will definitely be different, probably with a carrier bearing; get that cross-member, also.

Transmission mount will most likely be different, so get it and the transmission cross-member.

Don't forget the under-the-dash pieces, including the clutch AND BRAKE pedals.

Also, clutch master and slave cylinders/lines.

Picked up everything this morning. $700 for everything, almost. I need slave/mastercylinder and tubing. I found those on ebay. Do I need the flywheel housing? I found one on ebay too, just need to know if I should get it.

Is the Getrag internally balanced or off of flywheel?

I had to shorten the front half of the two piece driveshaft about 2.5 inches, as the getrag is a bit longer... same carrier... same rest. DIFFERENT crossmember.... I have done this swap, lmk if you have any questions!!

my truck is a 2wd btw

Thanks papecat-I picked up the driveshafts from the guy I got the tranny from, as well as pedal kit and crossmember.

Make sure you get the little square piece that holds the clutch master cylinder to the fire wall. Just two or three bolts I think.
