powr-lok rebuild ?'s

I've got a low milage powr-lok carrier to put in my 70, but I'm going to put new clutches in it before I put it in. I ordered new side gears because the ones on it where 35 spline, and my axles are 32 spline. Should I also replace the spider gears, even though they look good? Next question: there was about .025" end play on the cross shafts that support the spiders, is that normal? Last question: what is the torque spec on the bolts that hold the carrier together? thanks

I think the spiders will be fine. The cross shafts are not a real tight fit. If they don't look worn out, they are probably fine. I can't find a spec for them. Torque spec is 90-100 ft. lbs. I guess Dana isn't too picky as long as they are tight.
