pot inplace of tps

I read what was in the sticky sbout it and just wanted to make sure on a couple of things. The main thing is when you replace the tps with a pot does your cruise control still work? I also was looking at the switch idea and wondered if I left the tps in, could I plumb in a od switch to turn on od at any time, or do I need something else to make the switch work.

Thanks,

Owen

Yes, the cruise will still work.

If you install a mystery switch, everything will work as normal except when you flip the switch. All you're doing is grounding the OD circuit.

The replacement works great, I've been useing it for about 10 months now with 0 problems, cruise works and od button will still turn it off as norm.
