POD's to, What?

Anyone upgraded their POD's to different injectors and are happy with the power and performance?
If so, what did you go to?

I have a partially clogged injector and it is probably time to replace them anyway. They have at least 200k on them.

Thanks,
Mark

I can't say enough good about them. I would suggest a 14cm or 16cm housing with them though.

With my setup I was able to stay right next to a heavily modded WRX up until I let out at 115mph. If I ever get off my **** and put in my water/meth system it will get even more scary!

I am just testing the waters here. It cost about as much to have my existing injectors cleaned, popped and flowed as it does for a new set of POD's, but I am sure the sets of POD's available for cheap are not flow matched or anything.

Still, they cost half or less than most anything else.

Yes, perfect! My 16cm floating match is a little big for my altitude, but I can still flash to 40 psi when the conditions are perfect.

So the SDX 5x16's are a good step up then? How are the 5x25's, prolly too much for a stock pump!

Yes sir the 5x16's were sweet ! On the 5x25's feeding them with a custom 14 mil pump, from a local shop here just installed the AFC delete yesterday! Haven't had a chance to drive yet.. Lol back to the subject at hand the 16's are supper crisp and responsive, with the Denny t stage one and a restriction valve going to the AFC power seemed like never ending!!

Sdx stands for southern diesel extreme. I'm pretty sure they are not in business anymore but dont hold me too that. What turbo did you run with your 5x16's? That is a ton of fuel for a hx35. A hx35 is not that much bigger than the stock turbo. I would get ahold of the hungry diesel(Eric) or get ahold of diesel auto power (Jacob) they know these first gens better than anybody. The pods are a 4 hole injector and are typically hazy and smoky. They do not have the right spray pattern. I'm pretty sure both of them will suggest a 5x12 sac injector.

I have a 60mm hybrid. With the air I have my POD's run clean at boost, so I know I could use more fuel, even at this altitude.

Mine was a tad hot with an he351. You would probably be right at home with a 5x14 then, DAP is local to me but there nozzles are china made. I have not ran there's personally however I know a few guys around here that cracked nozzles So take as you will.
