Plow Mount input

All,
I picked up this old Meyer plow mount for my 93. Here's the Ebay link: http://tinyurl.com/yvvtbt I know how the bracket on the right of the picture fits. Anyone know how the angled bracket on the left bolts up? My truck is at my parent's place 80 mi north of me, or I would try and figure it out. Just thought someone here might know, and save me some guess work Now I'm trying to track down an older Meyer lift bracket. TIA!

the angeled bracket on the left bolts to the drivers side of the frame. there should be a matching, but oposite one for the passenger side of the frame.

the top (as pictured), bolts to holes that should already be in your frame, kinda above the center of the leaf springs. the oblong holes should fit over rivets that are in the frame. the bottom (as pictured) should bolt to the piece pictured on the right. you, as mentioned, are still missing the piece for the passenger side of the frame. the piece goes on the outside of the frame, and since it is a peice of angle iron, will pull up to the bottom of the truck frame when you tighten the moutning bolts down, so when you hit a snowbank, the force pushes up into the frame, instead of trying to shear the bolts off.

any other ?, ask me, i have been playing w/plows for years and just installed an older fisher frame on my '92.

I have a Meyers plow on my 93. Looks alot like the mount you won. If you ever needed to take a look at it I'm not to far away in the chicago burbs. I'll try and get some pics up.

Eclancy,
Thanks for all the great info on the Meyer plow mount! Figures I would be missing a bracket I guess I might have to fabricate the passenger side bracket. These old plow mounts seem to be hard to find. Especially for our old Dodge's. MoparMarv, if you could take some pictures of your Meyer mount, I would greatly appreciate it! If need be, I will stop by and give yours a look over. Seeing as you are in Oak Lawn. Once I have measurements I can probably fabricate the missing bracket. Thanks again for the info!

Yeah it looks easy to make or maybe some of it is the same as a common mount off a chvey or ford. I have a feeling there are about 5 or 6 pieces total too it. I'll check it out in the morning.
