a 3" straight pipe will handle a ton more power than stock. i would spend money elsewhere until you upgrade your turbo to something with a 4" outlet exhaust housing. until then, a 4" is vanity, IMO

Going to a 4 inch exhaust behind a stock turbo reduced my peak egts by over 250 degrees. So, I disagree.

what was the condition of your 3" exhaust?

i went from a very poorly crush bent 3" straight pipe setup to a 4" diamond eye and saw no difference. congratulations on your success though! the OP is looking for power, IMO $250 can be spent elsewhere to actually make power without the unnecessary addition of 4" exhaust.

Well you won't gain a lot but You will eventually want a 4" so it won't hurt to do it now. Then future mods won't be up against a restrictive system. JMHO.

Diamond eye in probably the least expensive. and summit racing had the best deal going when I bought mine. plus free shipping it was around $325 IIRC.

I got mine from thoroughbred diesel and I want to say it was $265 with free shipping.
