I do miss the simplicity of the crossover though
Hello, Pulltillbroke.

I still have the crossover setup, and will be installing it on the crew, I am stuck with needing to finish the truck wiring and front clip installation, the rest is finished. I plan to just leave it Non I/C. Not sure which turbo cold side to use. I have the 54 off my 1993 sitting around. I need to cut a MWE slot in it though...

I'll be sure to get pics of it when I finally get it installed. Out of town for the next couple weeks for work though...

Oh well gotta keep the job and pay bills.

it is called slAviation for a reason I guess

I don't really travel THAT much though anymore, not like the first year and a half...

I've run stock crossover with baby h1c and 54 h1c out of an I/c truck (fluttered) the 3" crossover with a 1998.5 24V Hx35 (current in the 1989) and banks intercooler and GDS coldside upgrade with Banks 14 W/g hot side.

Totor, why not move the pyro to the manifold with that nice pre tapped ATS manifold you have?

Thats the plan, just waiting on new guages. When I put the current guages in I didn't have the pre-tapped manifold.

Your plumbing job looks good; I wish they were half as good in the houses I have to repair.

Did you leave the ends of the tubing straight where the hose connects? I soldered on 5/8” compression ferrules from my plumbing box to give the hose a ridge to hang on to.

Jim
Yup.

Thanks, This was my first time playing with copper.

I used the 5/8"s ferrules on all the ends. Your water filter post made a nice starting point but deviated when it came to location since I had a lot of unused space under the exhaust manifold.

Where in socal are you located? Id be interested in seeing your truck first hand.

I'd like to see your trucks as well. I'm in Lake Forest this week and next.

I brought my 1993 down here last month but from now on I can only take my company car (prius) or fly the airlines...

It used to be a good deal to drive @ .55 a mile for 800 + miles rnd trip.
