I just got done installing the seats last week. Not too hard. I discovered that the 2nd Gen trucks, at least the Quad Cabs have a much flatter floor than the 1st Gens. You do have to fab either some stands for three of the mountings (to raise the seat about 3") or a new bracket for the inside 2 mountings to fit the contour of the floor board. I opted for the stands. With the risers, the back inside mounting point sits on the floor. The front 2 are 3" off the floor. The outside back is about 2 1/2" off the floor. I like sitting up higher. I don't have to look "around" the tach on the dash anymore! Makes the truck feel more like a "big" truck since you're sitting higher. Yet it also makes it feel smaller since you have better visability.
There is also some wiring envolved in the install. The seats have integrated belts so you have to wire up power to the inertia controller that releases the locks on the shoulder belts. And also power for the power seat. The connecter has 10 wires. I can forward info to anyone that wants a pin-out of the connector.
The seats cost me three Franklins and one Grant at the local trucks only wrecking yard.
