Perplexing steering issue

I have just replaced the steering box on one of my 4x4's and now it acts weird.

To preface this let me say first that this has happened with several boxes over the years and I don't see why

Also, the original box controlled the truck nicely, but the area around the input shaft seal was so rusted up, I could not get it apart to fix a leak.

That being said, I bit the bullet and swapped the box for a reman. I didn't want to do it because I was afraid this would happen (again) and did not want to pony up the dough.

To the problem:

Originally the truck handled fine, little slop in the box, little leak, otherwise normal.

Now, steering to the left is an effort. Steering to the right is easier than normal.
No play in the steering. Coupler is all new Mopar parts, clocked correctly and assembled properly. New hydraulic lines, pressure & return.

The front end is pretty good and as said it handled fine before--relatively speaking, it is a Dodge.

I had this issue years ago with the same reman co. and parts outlet. I swapped 3 boxes and it still did not change things. I believe I eventually cured the problem but I am darned if I can remember how???

The pitman arm only goes on one way, nothing was reversed or binding. This ain't the first time I've done this so I am sure it's all assembled proper.

Am I crazy, or is this now seeing some other front end issue previously masked by a little slop. Like I said, I wished they all would steer like it does to the right, left on the other hand is awful. It's like it has super power assist to the R, hardly assisted to the left. It seems like less turning of the wheel(input) to get revolution out of the box, if that makes sense.

Sorry for the lengthy one I just wanted to elimanate the obvious and get to the meat of the matter.

You need to adjust the centering valve.

I don't recall exactly where, but I think I've seen the instruction over at ramchargercentral.com or moparts.com.
