you could just go with an hx-35 turbo if you have a 5-speed. You should fill out your signature so that the rest of us can tell what you got. Year, model, tranny, rear end, and whatever else you have done to it. That way we can give you advice based on what truck you have. auto/manual is the big one as far a performance goes though.

welcome! im 17 too, get a set of gauges boost and pyro so you can mess with the pump- more experienced people will tell you all about that

genosgarage.com is a good place for gauges i like the autometer phantom 2 only they're really expensive- i've heard isspro makes a **** good gauge too

straight pipe it...you will love the sound!

Take a look at the sticky. There's all sorts of free/cheap stuff you can do for more power in the performance post.

Have you actually checked the turbo on your truck? Not all 92's have the lagmaster housing, you may have the 18.5. Yes, a smaller housing is still an upgrade, but, the stocker might not be that bad.

If it is the 21cm with the automatic trans it will be doggy. Mine with the 21cm auto and GV od and 4:10s is a DOG. A convertor would help but that 6 to 900 bucks will be my 5sp conversion and make me as happy as a rat in cheese factory. My 5sp truck although a 93 with a 18.5cm housing will run a hole in the wind and with alot of 05/07 common railers.

Look on the backside of the housing between engine and it, at about 8 o'clock position looking at the backside. There's raised numbers right there to tell you what you have. That's where mine is. Pump mods are easy and pretty cheap. I got the 366 governor spring, and tweaked the pump a little and am satisfied with performance. I have the same tranny, but wouldn't mind either a shift kit or getrag, but I don't think you'll have tranny issues. As far as the pump, read up on it and follow the directions step by step and you'll be fine. Enjoy that truck! They don't/won't make 'em anymore!

Welcome to the Site and I'm also 17 soon to be 18 but this is the site to stay hooked to. I have had so much help and learn so much more from this site as compared to any other site. I have since p-pumped my truck and now its under construction again for a B1 bomber over a B2 twin turbo setup and also southbend dual disk and NV4500 swap. That is amongst some things I have learn on this site. The easiest and cheapest mod for your truck is straight pipe and cranking the pump up and building your own cold air intake. Hope you enjoy the site and learn many new things

Welcome to the site

Check the Sticky for free tweaks In the "performance" section.

To edit your signature Find "user cp" in the top left--

And on the left hand side column you'll see "edit signature" , Put in a bunch of details on your truck.

if your truck has the lagmaster 21cm housing, put a different turbo on it and turn up the pump and it will be a whole different truck! be sure to get gauges first though
