? for people who have installed Banks (billet) grille 89-90

I recently just bought a real nice 90 model 2wd that is going to be my racer, and the stock grille is ugly as sin so I bought a billet grille for it. I broke out the grille today and am looking to install, but I can't get the support brackets for the grille to line up for the life of me. Where the grille supports need to go, the condenser bracket is in the way. I can move the grille support brackets over about 4in and attach them to the grille with a long bolt, but I dont think it would look good. Has anyone else ran into this problem or am I the only one?

Did that grill orginally come with a kit to install an intercooler on those trucks?? Just curious if the mounting was on the intercooler backets??
Sounds like another custom install...

I'll post pictures after I get it installed.

yeah, the intercooler wouldn't fit behind the stock grille, so they included one of the billet units.

Got the grille on and took a picture of it. It wasnt too bad to install and there is defintely room behind it for an intercooler if I go that route one day. Here's a picture....I have some more if anybody wants to see them.

I'm happy with the end result. No, the hood scoops are not functional, but that might be a project one of these days. I had to have the grille made through a website I found and took about a month for it to be completed. Not bad for 100 dollars though...

Talking

Dude *** over. What you can’t call a brother and let him know you bought another pickup? Hey I need to get your address again I lost it. Sorry for the delay. The pump is still sitting in my garage. I need you to try it if it works good then I know that the problem is something other than the pumps. I cant believe that I have two bad pumps. The test stand says other wise. If I don’t hear from you I will give you a call. Maybe you can send me some more pics of the new beast.
