PDR hx35 turbo charger

hi, i am going to order a hx35 turbo charger and i would like to know what it takes to hook up the waste gate if it comes with it?, and is there anything i should look out for when installing the new turbocharger such as gaskets or fittings or anything?

The PDR-35 does not come with any turbine housing, you re-use yours or order the size you want.

I'm sure they'll give you the gaskets with the turbo. Make sure the oil drain tube isn't blocked.

yeah i dident think the turbine housing came with it, ill just re-use my 18, inless there is a better size you guys think will work, i tow once and a while but mostly a play truck.

The 18.5 runs pretty good on an automatic. If you are sticking with the stock injectors a 12 cm wastegated will get you off the line a little quicker if that's what you're after.

well sooner or later i want to do injectors when im back to work full time, but ill try that 16 then, may as well do it right the first time. thanks guys

oh another question ,with this set up should i get a non wastgated housing or waste gated? if so what does it take to hook it up?

I personally think, if you are going to be using an HX-35, it's not worth the time or money for a WG housing. If you are going to be towing, that might be a different story, but if it was me I wouldn't bother with a WG housing.

Good price on a 14 cm wastegated housing in the classifieds.
They don't get much cheaper than $200 for that kind.
