Part numbers for upgradd parts

Was doing a search for that flutter/chatter tht I'm still battlng and some seem to think it might be the fan clutch and or fan belt starting to go. Along with changing those out, they suggested the water pump and t-stat while I was in there. They mentioned upgraded parts for these rather than stock but did not know the part #'s. Any advice? I just turned 106,000 miles....does this seem like it is too soon for these parts to start wearing down? Oh, yeah, It was also mentioned that the source for the noise coud also be the lift pump? Please check my sig to hep with advise. Carmyne

Carmyne, up at the top of the page click on "tech facts", then 1st gen, then "misc. part numbers" The number for the thermostat is in there.

If the engine will make the noise with no load, pop the belt off and run it to see if the noise goes away. That will help you eliminate belt driven accessories as a noise source without blowing a bunch of money needlessly.
