P Pump swap questions

Hello all,
Ive got a 92 W350 that ive been thinking about swapping a p pump into. how hard is this to do and is there a lot of parts i would need to gather? Ive got a buddy who has what looks like a new or fresh rebuilt pump hes looking to sell. It has a part number of 0402736867 on it but all i can find on the net is that it goes to a 6BTA. How can i tell what the hp rating is and weather it will fit my 92? Any help would be much appreciated

If I remember right that's a 180 horse pump like mine. Basically you need 2nd gen throttle cable, throttle bracket, lp, fuel filter setup n lines, injector lines, injectors, timing gear case n cover, and all the fuel lines on the engine, oh also injection pump oil feed line. it would be cheaper to do like I did n pick up a good used engine put it in then sell your VE engine.

I agree with 93-p-pumper
Pulling the VE 12V and selling it, then replacing it with a P-pumped one will be cheaper, and probably easier.

The engine swap if all goes well will take a day or two. Pulling the cam to swap timing gear covers will take that long itself.
