Overdrive issue
Hey everyone,
so, I have a 2gen 98' 12v with nearly 400,000 miles on it. I serviced the transmission a few days ago and the day after doing so, the overdrive gear wouldn't engage, as well as, every now and then it wouldn't down shift to first. When I leave the overdrive button in the on position, the shifts are almost unnoticeable. However, when I turn the overdrive button off, the shifts are nice and firm delivering great power. Any ideas on what might be going on? Anyone else encounter the same issue? Thanks in advance everyone for your help.

JasonC- welcome to DTR! Yours is a good first post, but you’ll probably get better responses in the second gen section of DTR. This forum is mainly for the 89-93 model years, first gen Dodge diesels.
