Okay, it runs, but badly. Now time for questions.

Okay, I got my 90 to run tonight, after sitting for 4 years. It would only fire after a snort of ether. It is question time.
1. Where can I get new injector lines? Are they a dealer only part? When I went to bleed them, two of the lines cracked as I turn the nuts.
2. How many batteries are in these things? When I got mine, there was only one, but my buddy tells me there should be two. Does anyone have a picture of a stock engine bay?
3. I have read about a "priming lever". Is this below the throttle cable?
4. Bonus question. The alt is frozen up. How much am I going to be out to get a new one?
Thanks all.

1) You'd probably get the injector lines from Cummins. Go to any Cummins server center and they should have or be able to get them.
2) I don't think dual batteries became standard until the 2nd gens, so you should have one big (Group 31) battery. I got mine from a Dodge dealer that had it on sale for 1/2 off ($75 + tax). Interstate is a good brand, too, but it'll probably run about $100.
3) The priming lever is on the lift pump. Left side of engine, down load, towards the back. There are fuel lines connected to it.
4) A remanufactured alternator will probably run about $120. A new one will be more.
Good luck with it! I've only had mine a couple months and I'm still having a blast with it. Wait until you put on a BHAF and turn up the fuel screw. Then it really starts getting fun!

Take your alternator to a starter repair shop and get it rebuilt there for even cheaper. When mine went bad i had a repair shop do it for less than $70.
Any cummins dealer will have the injector lines.
The priming lever is on the lift pump and the lower drivers side rear of the engine
These trucks came with single batteries only. 1250cca according to the manual.

To make it easyer getting the injection lines. Look on each line there is a small metal tag wraped around it somewhere close to the pump. That metal tag has the number for the line. With your CPL # and that tag number it shouldn't be hard at all for them to find the lines.
