The same way you deal with crooked Mexican police shaking you down on your trips back and forth to the USA.

We just deal with it, while detest it- as it's happening, and wish it would all just go away...

In the meantime we deal with "asset forfeiture" here in the U.S. It's basically legalized theft by LEO's.

The Jersey shoreline wouldn't be as much of a draw if it wasn't stolen from the homeowners that lived there, beforehand

Happily, the upper kingpin cones gave me hardly any trouble at all. All I had to do was spend $150 on a 3/4 drive breaker bar, a special order 7/8 impact hex socket, and use six feet of square tubing as a cheater. And soak them in penetrating oil for two days while waiting on the socket, and beat on the housing a little bit with a BFH... Other than that, piece of cake...

With luck, it will be all back together tomorrow afternoon, with new u joints, too, and then off to get new tires. It will be almost like having a new truck! Except for the sagging doors, the worn out seat, and the paint all falling off....

Following T-cow's lead. I put a link to the archive of this thread in the first post, That way, if there is a Zombie apocalypse, it will survive, kind of like Gloria Gaynor...Mark
