Oh good grief..

Fixed fresh air vent leak, then fixed firewall steering column gasket leak, now look at this leaking. Heres a link--

Watch "1st Gen Dodge wet floor solved" on YouTube
https://youtu.be/0HvChyDy8jw

I replaced the door sill seals, but the bulk of the water comes in from the verticle window guide and across the track. Then it spashes out of the door panel and on the floor. Any thoughts on how to stop this??

Btw, I do/did have a sheet of plastic between the inner door skin and the interior panel. It splashed onto that and made its way down to the bottom and out or the panel and the speaker grill past the door seal on onto the carpet

Have I mentioned removing the carpet so it doesn't stay wet / rust out the floorboards so you don't have to worry about a little water that makes it way into the old 1st gen.???

Or you could always park it in the garage for rain storms.

That is a lot of water pouring in there. Did you have the shower curtain tucked in so the water would run inside the door? I would try to seal up the curtain and tuck it in.

Most of the water seems to enter the verticle window run. Am i missing something in this picture to help keep water out?

The doors are designed to leak water into the interior of the door. It's keeping THAT water out of the interior of the truck that matters. Make sure the drain holes in the bottom of the door are open and that the plastic membrane is intact. Also the shield over the speaker is sealed.

I redid the plastic sheet and then some. Im going to add some POR15 and coat the bottom inside of the door to protect it a bit further. More rain expected Sunday, guess Ill see for sure if this fixes this leak.
