OD shifting

I have been having problems with my overdrive shift point, i have to almost completely let off of the throttle to get it to shift into overdrive, also i want to use WOT without downshifting back into 3rd. I have read through the "sticky" but am still a little unsure. What would be best: the potentiometer gimmick, or the governor pressure switch?? Thanks for all input!

Sounds like your TPS is out of adjustment or bad, adjusting it is easy enough. There's a thread in the sticky. Replacing it is expensive. I got quoted 300 from my local parts store. It was enough to convince me to do the pot fix. I like being able to adjust my shift point on the fly, But it won't kick down like a passing gear if you nail the throttle like the TPS(stock) setup. Just have to turn the knob to kick it down first, or hit the O/D off switch. About $10 for the pot, and $300 for the TPS......You choose
