I do believe that is your vehicle speed sensor

I was thinking the same it must be a speed sensor but I am not 100% sure.

You are missing the ratio adapter and the speed sensor!!

Dlowkes7 07-31-2010 09:27 PM

is that something i find and replace easily

It might be sitting on the crossmember...

The VSS is commonly available, and a speedo shop can get you the ratio adapter.

If you are lucky it is still plugged into the wiring harness and that prevented it form disappearing completely. If you cant find it easily then it is probably gone. A new one can be had from the dealership and you will need to know your axle ratio and tire size so they can match it that way. Chances may be good that they wont be able to source it anymore and you will have to go the aftermarket route. You probably can get it cheaper aftermarket as well, but I am not sure the best place to get one.
