OD button replace
Ok. I've been thru 2 factory overdrive buttons now and looking to replace it with A toggle. Has anyone done this and have A wiring diagram of how I could wire it?

I need a new one as well. Right now I am using the cargo light switch plugged into the OD plug but you gotta push the button twice to engage or disengage it. I need to get a 2nd gen shifter with the button in the end but i believe a toggle would work

I did the 2nd gen shifter on 2 of my trucks, love it and works like a charm. It is an easy 2 wire hook up,
18ga Black = One side of the OD switch
20ga Orange w/white tracer = The other side of the OD switch.
(the other wire(s) are for the light.)
I spliced it in line so I can use either switch and retain the OD light on the original button.

Just what is shown on the bottom of the above diagram. You probably need to start by adjusting / testing the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor).

Ok. I hooked up A toggle switch to the OD and still have to double click it like U do using the cargo light button. I don't like it. Does anyone still make the stock switch?
