Well pushed my O/D button in the other day to lock it our and the clicker broke so it wouldnt click back out. I just unplugged it to get my overdrive to work again then I tried using my cargo light switch and plugged it in where my overdrive switch goes cuz they are almost the same switch. It works for now but you have to push the button twice to get it to kick in or out. I was wanting to put in a 2nd gen shifter with the button in the end but its about $57 from dodge and I couldn't find one on ebay or my local clasifieds. I may check at a junkyard this week though. Im gonna need this for competitions this weekend and wonder what you guys have done? I thought about just puttin it on a toggle or a different push button switch for now to get by til I can find a shifter. Or does anyone know where to get a 2nd gen shifter for cheap?

 

I use a toggle switch but I have seen where some guys use the old floor board headlight dimmer switch that came in the older trucks without the column blinker/dimmer combination lever
