No governoring action now?

Hey guys thought I would ask question im concerned about how my new IP is acting.

Some specs first:93 d350 370k miles,getrag,2wd, bosch 190's, BHAF,smooth intake hose,4" exhaust,hx35,South bend 13"HD clutch,water/ meth inj.M&H timing spacer,pump is set at factory mark on timing cover.

My latest mod is a BD diesel HP injection pump with 3200 spring and BD fuel pin.The pump came tuned pretty mild IMHO so Im crankin her up!

First of all I ran it like it came, hit about 25 psi and defueled @ 3200ish.So I backed out the high idle screw(1 1/2 threads showing) and cranked in the fuel screw.Went for a test drive and I get about 30psi now...excellent!Came back and pulled the air cleaner hose and bottomed out the fuel screw and tested for runaway. It sounded like it was revving pretty high but rpms coming up nice and smooth, not acting like it wants runaway on me at all.I jump in the cab and hit the throttle and OH MY its revving way past the 3200ish its going all the way up to 4500 or even further if I keep pushing the throttle. It does not hang at all, rpms come up real smooth and rpms come down quick as I lift the throttle.

What happened to my governor??? this concerns me! should I be worried?

Whatcha guys think about this issue and what do you suggest I try?

I havnt put the high idle screw back to were it was yet.Truck runs awesome! a 4th gear hell ride netted me 30 psi about 1050 egt's and still holding about 8 psi post filter.

Thanks, Mike.
