New VE pump

I just replaced the VE pump and injectors today and all I can say is wow! My egts run cooler with very little smoke and it goes faster than ever now and it also runs smooth as glass. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone because I got all the info right here on the board.[guitar] So thanks everybody.

Nice...glad it all worked out for the better.

The resources, and people, here on the DTR are invaluable.

So what do you think made the biggest improvement, the injectors or the pump?

How many miles did you have on them, what convinced you to replace the pump ,was it leaking?

How much did it cost you for the parts?

Is the pump stock of did you play with it already?

I'm think the injectors made a big difference, ill post pics of the old ones later they look bad.The pump had 145k and the injectors had 50k on them. I replaced the pump because it kept clogging the dv's with metal flakes, it would hardly run in the mornings, and i got finally tired of wondering when it was going to grenade. The pump is stock and the injectors are +40 4 hole injectors and it pulls way harder then ever before. I have around $1100 in the pump and injectors and it was money well spent.[roll]
